Rowe Furniture’s Ferguson accent chair is shown in Tangerine Tango (Pantone 17-1463) with complementary accent pillow featuring a free flowing pattern of tangerine and white. 

Pantone, which sets the standard in color for the design industry, has named Tangerine Tango as its 2012 color of the year.

Pantone said in a news release that its 2011 color of the year, Honeysuckle, a pinkish hue, "encouraged us to face everyday troubles with verge and vigor. Tangerine Tango, a spirited reddish orange, continues to provide the energy we need to recharge and move forward."

Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, described Tangerine Tango as an "orange with a lot of depth to it."
