B. Methods of Collecting Information
JJGLE.COM Website collects the most basic personal information for the provision of Services upon your initial application for the services. Such information includes the name, resident registration number, phone number, and address, etc. for individual users and company name, business registration number, phone number, e-mail address, address, etc. for corporate users. We request for additional information for the purposes of providing certain specific Services. However, we do not request for information concerning the users' race, personal belief, place of birth or permanent address, political inclination or criminal records, health status or sexual preferences, which may infringe the members' human rights, unless there is an approval by the user or it is required by relevant statutes.
We may request for your personal information in order to perform statistics analysis or delivery of gifts when there is a survey or events. We assure that your personal information will not be used for purposes other than the ones communicated to you in advance.
There is an approval process for conditions of use when applying for use and if the user provides approval for the conditions of use, the member is deemed to have provided approved for collection of his/her personal information as well.

3. Retention and disposition of personal information
A. Retention of personal information
Your personal information will be retained by JJGLE.COM Website and will be used for the purposes of providing the Services for the period that you remain as a user of JJGLE.COM Website and be provided with the Services that it offers.
B. Period of retention and use of personal information
Your personal information will be retained and used from your application for use pursuant to the Conditions of Use until the termination of the user agreement.
C. Disposition of personal information
However, in case a user of JJGLE.COM Website has requested for deletion of ID or termination of subscription according to the procedures in 'revision, reviewing and deletion of one's own personal information' section or in case the purpose that the personal information was stated to be used has been achieved, the personal information is deleted permanently in an irrecoverable way from our hard disk and cannot be used or opened by any means. However, the personal information may be retained when relevant statutes including commercial law, Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. requires retention of such personal information. In this case, the personal information is retained for the purposes of storage only.

4. Disclosure and sharing of personal information
A. In principle, JJGLE.COM Website does not disclose users' personal information to another person, company, and/or institution. However, there are following exceptions:
(1) when a user has given consent to disclosure of his/her personal information;
(2) when there are sufficient grounds to disclose personal information in order to take legal measures against a person who has violated terms of JJGLE.COM Website Services or who has caused damages on others using JJGLE.COM Website Services. C. Corporate information of corporate users of SHANGHAI SINOEXPO will be disclosed only when the company has consented to such disclosure and only the approved items will be disclosed to the users of JJGLE.COM Website for the approved period of time for the purpose of facilitating transactions between companies. You may withdraw such consent at any time after you provided such consent to disclosure of corporate information.
D. In the event that a user's consent is required to provide to a third party the personal information that exceeds the scope notified in advance or determined by the conditions of use, the following information shall be notified to the user in advance by a letter, e-mail, or phone call.
(1) Matters that the member has provided consent in the past.
(2) The extent of personal information intended to be provided to a 3rd party which exceeds the scope notified in advance or determined by the conditions of use.

E. In the event SHANGHAI SINOEXPO outsources processing of personal information, the fact shall be informed to the users through letters, e-mails, phone calls or a notice on the homepage. SHANGHAI SINOEXPO shall ensure full protection of personal information, confidentiality, and prohibition on provision of information to a 3rd party through agreement with the service provider or other appropriate method. The agreement shall also stipulate responsibilities, outsource period, return or disposition of personal information upon termination of the agreement. The agreement shall be kept either in paper or in an electronic form.

5. Operation and utilization of cookies
JJGLE.COM Website uses cookie which stores and retrieve users' information in order to provide personalized and customized Services to each user. Cookie is a small data package that the server which is used in the operation of homepage sends to the user's browser. The data package is stored in the hard disks of each user's computer.

Members can request for deletion of ID to the service administrator or else it is deleted automatically upon termination of the user agreement.
B. Withdrawal of consent on collection and use of personal information and provision of personal information to a 3rd party is performed upon users' request through an e-mail or a letter. In such a case, the user shall disclose his ID and resident registration number or business registration number in order to confirm identification.

7. Technical/institutional management to protect personal information, complaint handling, and personal information administrator

SHANGHAI SINOEXPO prevents its website from being attacked or hacked through a system that blocks intrusion from outside for the purpose of protecting personal information. SHANGHAI SINOEXPO has also installed an intrusion detection system to detect computer attack 24 hours a day. The systems and data are backed up in case users' personal information is destroyed.
Your personal information is protected by a password. The password for your account is known to yourself only. No person other than yourself can review or revise your personal information without knowing the password. Therefore, you shall not disclose your password to others. We advise you to log out and turn off your browser after each session.

B. Institutional management to protect personal information
SHANGHAI SINOEXPO has a minimum number of employees who are responsible for controlling personal information in relation to JJGLE.COM Website. Compliance with the Guidelines is stressed through training sessions that take place occasionally. At the same time, the audit committee reviews whether the Guidelines are well observed by the responsible employees and takes relevant measures in the event any issues are detected. However, SHANGHAI SINOEXPO is not responsible for unpredictable accidents such as damages on information and disputes concerning postings by visitors to website due to fundamental network hazards such as hacking although technical security measures are in place.

For event and exhibition management

If you participate in one of our events as a speaker, sponsor, exhibitor or attendee, your personal information will be used in connection with the running of the event, to handle payments and recover debts.

We will also use your personal information to maintain databases that allow us to assess your qualities as a speaker or sponsor/exhibitor, promote events and encourage further engagement at our events. 

In addition, photos and videos are taken at our events, which may feature attendees, speakers, sponsors or exhibitors. Where we have taken photos and videos at our events that feature you as an attendee, sponsor or exhibitor, to the extent permitted by applicable data protection laws, those photos and videos may be used for promotional purposes. 

Where events and exhibitions use badge scanning technology your personal information will be used to identify you at certain access points, such as to VIP areas, seminars, entry and exit and other areas of the event. This will provide certain location information. Badges cannot be read remotely.

The personal information obtained from badge scanning will be used for access control, security and analysing visitor traffic with a view to improving the event experience for visitors and others. 

You can also allow your badge to be scanned by event exhibitors. When you do so your contact details will be shared with the relevant exhibitor and used in accordance with applicable data protection laws, the exhibitor’s privacy policy and any other notices or consents you are provided with or given at the event.

Where we are hosting and managing a virtual exhibition or event the organisers (and any third party platform provider acting on our behalf) will use your personal information provided during the registration process to host and manage this digital event and for analyzing visitor interactions and traffic with a view to improving the event experience for visitors and provide you with a personalized experience.

When you entering a virtual spaces, zone or room such as an exhibition booth your personal information may be shared with the sponsor and exhibitor to allow them to engage with you subject to the attendee privacy notice you may have been provided during the registration and login process.

For marketing 

The relevant Controller may use your personal information to send you newsletters, offers or other marketing emails that keep you up to date with our news, events and products that may be of interest. Depending on the nature of your interaction with us and applicable data protection laws, you may have actively given us your consent (i.e. opted in) or we may be entitled to rely on your implied consent or legitimate interests to market to you. The opportunity to opt out of future marketing will always be provided and you have the right to amend your marketing preferences at any time (see Your Rights section). 

Many of our events and products are co-branded or sponsored by third party exhibitors or sponsors. We may share your details with these third-party partners. The personal information held about you, combined with other personal information legitimately obtained and shared with us by third parties or publicly available data, may be used to better understand our customers and their preferences and to improve the products and services delivered. Where you consent to the use of your location data, certain mobile applications may use location data to assist you to navigate around events and bring exhibitors’ and sponsors’ products to your attention whilst you are using the app.

Our marketing related emails contain a single, campaign-unique “web beacon pixel” to tell us whether emails are opened, and combined with other technology, to verify any clicks through to links within the email. We may use this information for purposes including determining which emails are of more interest to you and to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them. The pixel will be deleted when you delete the email. 

Where you subscribe to an online service, the accompanying emails similarly include a pixel. We track interaction with these emails and our online services to validate attendance for accreditation purposes, to help determine which information is of interest to you and to customise the advertisements seen on our sites.

If you do not wish the pixel to be downloaded to your device, you should choose not to click links that we send or to opt out of email marketing or online events. This information may be connected to your personal identity.

Sharing within JJGLE OR INFORMA PLC and SHANGHAI SINOEXPO INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION CO., LTD company ownership

We may share your personal information with certain other companies within the ownership structure of JJGLE OR each of INFORMA PLC and SHANGHAI SINOEXPO INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION CO., LTD. We use web chat services including Intercom, LiveAdmins, Live Chat, Casengo that allow us to connect with you and answer sales and customer services questions quickly and directly. We ensure these service providers protect your data but these chats are intended to provide you with quick answers to basic service questions only and you should not provide any sensitive information such as bank or credit card details in these chats.

These data processors are bound to compliance through contracts in place that protects the personal information you have shared with us.

Sharing with other Organisations

We may share your personal information with trusted partner organisations for their marketing purposes in accordance with local data protection laws and where required, with your permissions. 

If you use one of our virtual products, such as a virtual exhibition, directory site or webinar, or choose to allow your badge to be scanned at an event, we may pass the information you provide to third parties. Generally, this will be via a process whereby you, as the user, visit or interact with a third party such as by visiting a stand at an online exhibition, having your badge scanned or clicking an asset branded and provided by a third party. In some instances, for example, a product listing site, you may reach out directly to a supplier or exhibitor, who may contact you in return. In other instances, our virtual products are sponsored and, in these cases, the data provided will be given to the sponsor. Generally, we will let you know at the time of collection if a product is sponsored.

To reorganise or make changes to our business

In the event that we are subject to negotiations for the sale of all or a part of our business to a third party, are sold to a third party or undergo a re-organisation, we may need to transfer some or all of your personal information to the relevant third party or its advisors as part of any due diligence process. Any information that is transferred to that re-organised entity or third party and will be used for the same purposes as set out in this policy, or for the purpose of analysing any proposed sale or re-organisation.
