JD.com has joined hands with Homekoo to create a pan-furnishing industry chain Internet platform.

Recently, the announcement of Homekoo has stirred up waves. The announcement stated that shareholders Fortunr Caixin, Tianjin Fortune and Beijing Jingdong signed the Share Transfer Agreement


Fortune Group intends to transfer 5.02% of its shares to Beijing Jingdong. Beijing Jingdong' s shareholding ratio will increase to 8.83%, and it will actually participate in corporate governance through the nominated directors.


According to media reports, He Yubing, Secretary of the Board of Homekoo, revealed in a conference call conducted by the agency that JD.com has strong expectations of changing the industry chain, and Homekoo has experience in the supply chain: "We are well aware of the pain points here. The SKU is huge, there are many categories, and the advantages of centralized procurement in the supply chain are not particularly easy to establish. Jingdong is willing to build an industrial chain with us, and both parties give full play to their respective advantages. Jingdong has resources, logistics and warehousing capabilities, and bargaining power. We have assembly technology and the ability to decorate building materials. With experience, the two parties will work together to build a pan-home industry chain Internet platform. It is not a mobile Internet platform, nor is it an information Internet platform, it is an industry chain Internet platform."
