By the end of this year, the output may reach 10 times the output when it was first built.

Recently, Kuka Home's factory in Monterrey, Mexico announced the completion of its expansion. The current scale and production capacity are twice those when the first phase was completed on June 18 last year.

After the expansion, the factory has 650 employees. With the establishment of the new production line, the number of employees is expected to increase substantially. It is estimated that by the end of the year, the factory's production capacity will reach 250 trucks, which is nearly ten times higher than the output of 23-30 trucks when it was just built.

The booming market demand in North America has promoted the continued expansion plan of Kuka Home in Vietnam and Mexico. In the past 2020, Kuka’s overseas business revenue reached 4.653 billion.

The completion of the expansion of the Mexican plant can relieve pressure on production capacity to a certain extent and help Kuka deliver special orders that need to be delivered within three to four weeks.

Kuka Home is currently investigating the possibility of further expansion in 2022.

The Kuka Mexico investment plan started with the strong demand in the US market. The Mexican plant can not only meet the supply of existing orders, but also provide the foundation and convenience for Kuka to further develop the North American market under the new US-Mexico-Canada agreement, and thus avoid it. Hidden dangers caused by changes in trade policies.

At present, customers express their warm welcome and expectation for the start of production of its North American factory. Kuka will cover the production and sales of multiple brands and types of sofas. In the future, Kuka Home will further expand its production base in Mexico.
