Wayfair.com’s Idea Boards, which enable the website’s shoppers to select products for their wish lists, are responsible for 31 percent of the site’s mobile application revenue, according to a statement from parent company, Wayfair.

The Idea Boards enable consumers to save and organize furniture and décor products in one location. Recently, the boards surpassed four million users across desktop, mobile-app and mobile-web platforms. In January, Wayfair.com shoppers earmarked more than $3.8 billion of products to their Idea Boards.

Wayfair said the most popular products on Idea Boards are sofas and sectionals, comforters, bedding, accent chairs and tufted upholstery. In terms of design, shoppers have saved patterns such as chevron and quatrefoil, and are perusing bold patterns and colors in curtains and area rugs.

“When shopping for furniture and décor, customers are often in discovery mode, looking for ideas, inspiration and lots of options,” said Steve Oblak, senior vice president and general manager of wayfair.com. “Wayfair’s Idea Boards make it quick and easy for shoppers to tag favorite products and organize them in a way that fits their unique needs, whether by room, product, color or style, and even share their discoveries with friends and family to help with the decision-making process.”
