Antwerp, Belgia-based designer Xavier Coenen has created the MoModul. It is a modular storage furniture system consisting of 3 basic modules. The shape and size of the furniture system can be changed to suit the space and needs by arranging the three modules in different ways.
From the designers, “MoModul is a piece of furniture consisting of 3 basic modules. By manipulating them in a playful way the functionality of the 3 wooden modules appears progressively. Assembling them requires neither screws nor bolts. MoModul is designed for users who enjoy redesigning their interiors from time to time.
Two of the three modules (MoMo#2 and MoMo#3) can be connected by means of slots. The third module is used to complete or stabilise the two other modules. The aim is to compose a functional piece of furniture!”
