Saint Petersburg-based product designer Yaroslav Misonzhnikov has created the Ugol table lamp. Presented at this year’s SaloneSatellite in Milan, the Ugol has a very unusual shape for a desk lamp. The “Ugol” means “Corner” in Russian language. The lamp is composed of a simple wooden pole-like form with a rectangular handle at one end. The long wooden pole is embedded with LED lights. The rectangular handle slips on to a corner of a table and keeps the lamp at an angle depending on the thickness of the table surface.
