Dancing Chair is an elegant design project belonging to artist Constance Guisset. With an appearance that is eye-catching and original, the Dancing Chair is bold, to say the least. The base of the chair is constructed of bent, undulating pieces of wood. This gives it an almost ethereal look, very pleasant to observe. Constance went for a shell-like upholstered seating unit, that ensures a high degree of comfort. The product was also interpreted as a modern approach of the traditional rocking chair. Both the chair and footrest come with a removable textured fabric cover, for easy maintenance. The project is one of the 13 chosen ideas to be presented during the MAISON MEUBLE exhibition at the VIA stand. How do you appreciate the overall appearance of this unusual chair?
