This sofa is a very interesting concept from designer Gustav Segerstéen; it tells the story of a human life. How we grow from being alone to finding a partner, and making two lives one, eventually bringing up new life and the sofa kind of portrays that. The sofa is built and upholstered using traditional methods. Wood for the seat frame, legs and support for the back. A steel-wire frame upholds the backrest. There is a lamp for reading at one side. I love the calm minimalist color and unusual design that makes you think of two chairs that grew into one sofa but they are still chairs. I would buy such a centerpiece for my living room, and you?
