Indulging in Relaxation and Modern Design: Emma Sitting Object
A surprising effect can be acquired by combining a bench and a chair. In this case, the Emma Chair claims its place in the spotlight with a simple and contemporary design that unites two kinds of seating units – a chair placed on top of a bench frame.
A surprising effect can be acquired by combining a bench and a chair. In this case, the Emma Chair claims its place in the spotlight with a simple and contemporary design that unites two kinds of seating units – a chair placed on top of a bench frame. The non-intrusive design of the Emma Sitting Object fits into any home and offers a modern approach to seating unit designs. Darmstadt – based studio Kieser Spath designed Emma “for the quiet moments of life. You can use it alone or share it with other people“. Created for usual activities like reading a book, working on your notebook or even as a place to sit down and tie your shoes, the bench-like chair offers comfort and relaxation after a hard day. The German designers used ash-wood and a cushioned seat shell to create the Emma and the result is a well-fitted, balanced design. Enjoy the photos!
