The Cebu Furniture Industry Foundation  will be hosting the CEBUNEXT furniture expo on  March 5-8, 2011, at the Waterfront Lahug Hotel & Casino in Philippines. The furniture expo has become the hub for Filipino designers to showcase their creativity and designs. Some of the more notable designers being featured this time include Daniel Latorre Cruz and Martha Cech. While Cruz lists myths, nature, memories and futuristic themes as his source of inspiration, Cech is influenced predominantly by European art and culture. For the Kagikan project, Daniel will be collaborating with Obra Cebuana, Coast Pacific, Stonesets and Hacienda Crafts and Martha will be collaborating with Cebu Natura and Pacific Traders.
