The SEESAW faucet which is also the proud winner of the red dot award: design concept 2010 highlights the reconciliation of eco-friendly designs with commercialization. The faucet operates on the singular principle of saving water and hence designer Han Chanhee has quite brilliantly incorporated the mechanism of a sea-saw swing into this faucet. Since emphasis is on the frugal usage of natural sources, the SEESAW faucet operates with the up-and-down action of a seesaw. Thus when the soap dispenser on one side is pushed down from the neutral position, the tap on the rather side raises and stops the flow of water! Designed for public bathrooms, the SEESAW faucet is much needs respite from from hallowed design fundamentals and stays in tune with the current "Go Green" mantra that has been influencing the design community.
