As you have probably noticed, there's something about modular designs that attracts my interest. No matter what room of the house we'd be talking about, modular furniture can be a lifesaver especially for small apartments. The Tete-e-Tete Nest is such a design, but it's rather suited for public spaces than personal homes. The modular design will offer you absolute privacy when privacy is needed. The designer envisioned electro-chromic windows that change from transparent to opaque thus ensuring the absolute privacy I was talking about. But the Tete-e-Tete Nest can quickly be dismantled and turned into an open space area once the need for privacy is gone. The question is, where would you actually place such designs?
