Christopher Guy Debuts New Flagship Showroom In The New York Design Center

The Christopher Guy showroom which is located on the penthouse floor of the NYDC ?will strengthen the brand’s offering to ?designers and architects in the NY metropolitan area.

Christopher Guy, announced the opening of a new flagship showroom in the historic New York Design Center (NYDC). The 20,000 square foot showroom will bring the Christopher Guy experience to New York City.

The Christopher Guy showroom which is? located on the penthouse floor of the NYDC ?will strengthen the brand’s offering to ?designers and architects in the NY  metropolitan area. The showroom? will showcase Christopher Guy's latest ?collections in an environment that? includes three suites, each portraying varying ?lifestyles. Among these collections is the newly? expanded Mademoiselle Collection which debuted ?at the Spring 2013 High Point Market.

The interior design of the New York showroom has been created by Christopher Guy Harrison, award-winning designer, CEO and founder of the Christopher Guy brand. Included will be a 225 foot long furniture runway which showcases a number of pieces and features beautiful cove ceilings, state of the art lighting, scaled reeded columns, high polish white glass floors and a chained glass wall.

"It's simply fabulous and an honor to be able to add the CG initials to NY with the launch of CGNY, a perfect combination, in a perfect design building, the New York Design Center,” said Christopher. “This marks the 6th major international showroom opening by Christopher Guy over the past year, and with over 20,000 sq.ft, it is also the largest.”

The showroom features the state-of-the-art fully functional Christopher Guy Design Lab, created as a working environment for interior designers allowing many capabilities to complete entire design projects. Using advanced software and touch screen display, designers will be able to apply fabric and finishes to their desired furnishing pieces. The Design Lab provides many options to designers and allows them to create their entire project within one working environment.

Following the New York Showroom opening, Christopher Guy is set to launch its new website, developed in-house over the past 18 months.
