HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP)— Lexington Home Brands has announced it will buy Sligh Furniture Co.
The High Point Enterprise reported that the transaction is slated to close in October and will give Lexington a presence in the home office and home entertainment categories.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Lexington plans to close the deal before the fall High Point Market Oct. 22-27, officials said.
Sligh Furniture is based in Holland, Mich., and was founded in 1880. It is known for its product initiatives in the home office and home entertainment categories, the paper reported.
Sligh designers earned seven Pinnacle Awards for outstanding design from the American Society of Furniture Designers.
