Michelle Lamb to discuss color trends on IFDA webinar
The webinar, set for Nov. 16, is available to IFDA members
HIGH POINT — Trend forecaster Michelle Lamb will present a webinar for members of the International Furnishings & Design Assn. on Nov. 16.
Lamb is co-founder and chairman of Minneapolis-based Marketing Directions, which specializes in home furnishings color and trend forecasting, working with clients to provide direction and color specification.
"We are delighted to offer IFDA members the expertise and insights of Michelle Lamb, who will discuss the influences driving incoming styles and the newest information on colors for 2011 as well as 2012," said Jeanne Matlock, who chairs IFDA's Educational Foundation.
Lamb's clients have included 3M, Hunter Douglas, Target Stores, Lowes, Hunter Fan and Home Depot. She also is editorial director of The Trend Curve, a trade newsletter that forecasts trends in color, pattern and design for manufacturers, interior designers and retailers, and writes a blog called Connecting the Dots.
The Nov. 16 webinar will take place at 2 p.m.
