It is the first unmanned bookstore in Shenzhen and the largest of its kind in the country. Customers can enter the bookstore by scanning a code. They can also find the precise location of a book and complete payments through Tencent's WeChat Pay or Alibaba’s Alipay.
Other smart equipment such as a smart advertising machine, a smart beverage serving counter and a product display system also help bring the charm of both culture and technology to readers.
