Wayne Johansen, chairman and founder of the Top 100 store, made the presentation to Rizzy at an awards event that drew an audience of almost 1,000.

"Rizzy Home is one of the most valued partnerships at HOM Furniture," Johansen said. "Over 10 years ago we found Rizwan Ansari on a buying trip to India and we had that special connection. We became close friends and have been able to grow our businesses together in a meaningful way since our first meeting."

Rizzy Home has become HOM's largest rug vendor from India, he said.

"Most people don't know this but we were even the ones that nicknamed Rizwan ‘Rizzy,' which he eventually chose to use as his U.S. operations business name, now known as Rizzy Home," Johnansen said.

In presenting the rep award to the Lymans, HOM Furniture Manager Kyle Johansen said HOM's acquisition of patio retailer Seasonal Concepts in 2009 was the beginning of the relationship with Tropitone. Combining the inventory of the two businesses required narrowing 165 collections down to 50. Tropitone became the highest price point line and the sales staff was nervous that it had consumed 10% of the retail selling space, he said.

"However, under the dedicated team of the Lymans, Tropitone became HOM's top outdoor vendor in three seasons," Kyle Johansen said. He added that the Lymans' work ethic and attention to detail became a dependable resource to everyone in the merchandising channel from purchasing, warehouse and service, to the retail sales consultant.
