The ever-popular Furniture Makers National Charity Golf Championship event will be held on Friday 13th September at the prestigious Melbourne Championship Course at Brocket Hall, Welwyn, Hertfordshire. All proceeds from the tournament go to helping current and former furnishing industry employees who find themselves facing unexpected financial hardship.
Said the Furniture Makers’ Chief Executive Jonny Westbrooke: “As well as raising vital money for the charity, it’s a tremendous day on a top class course and a great opportunity to network with industry colleagues. We are always looking for new supporters to come along and enjoy our events.”
This is the charity’s longest running event. It is also the culmination of the Furniture Makers’ regional golf events with players all vying to win the coveted Cabinet Maker Cup for the best net score. There are many trophies to compete for during the full day of golf which is followed by a lunch and trophy presentation.
The tournament is a singles Stableford full handicap competition open to men and women. For more information, to book a place or enquire about sponsorship opportunities, contact Monica Martin or email: marketing@furnituremakers.org.uk.
