The temporary gift and home décor exhibition space at the World Market Center here will be on three floors instead of the originally planned two, according to market organizers.
The temporary gift and home décor exhibition space at the World Market Center here will be on three floors instead of the originally planned two, according to market organizers.
That decision adds another 95,000 square feet of temporary exhibition space on floors C5, C10 and C11 for around 325 exhibitors in product categories including gift, global, gourmet, home, made, style, textiles, trend, vintage and carry.
"Our primary goal with this strategic realignment is to expand the positive synergies between temporary exhibitors and permanent showrooms," said Dorothy Belshaw, president of gift & home décor, International Market Centers. "By emphasizing adjacencies of related categories of temporary and permanent resources, we are creating a dynamic, and seamless, shopping experience for buyers and maximizing the cross-marketing opportunities for vendors."
Temporary exhibitors in the home, textiles, style and made categories will set up on floor C5 to complement permanent showrooms on floors C3 and C4.
Lifestyle-focused categories gift, global, gourmet, vintage and carry will be housed on C11 while the trend category, which spotlights ahead-of-the-curve products, can be found on floor C10.
