Hammary Furniture is recalling 165 side dining chairs due to a potential fall hazard, the company announced in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Consumers are advised to stop using the chairs and return them to the retailer where they purchased them for a replacement or refund. There were no reported injuries associated with the chairs, but the company has received two reports of the chair legs flexing.
Made in the Philippines, the chairs have a brown wood frame, an upholstered white seat and a woven abaca back. The item number is 090-418, which is printed on a label under the seat.
The chairs were sold at La-Z-Boy Galleries and other furniture stores nationwide from June 2012 to March 2013 for about $300 each.
Consumers can contact Hammary toll-free at (888) 315-4957 or visit www.hammary.com for more information.
