US Viewers Grew by 71% in Furniture China 2018

In the Sino-US trade friction is in the hot stage, the US buyers are not decreasing.

On September 14th, the 24th China International Furniture Expo & 3rd Maison Shanghai, hosted by China Furniture Association and Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo Co., Ltd., successfully concluded in Pudong, Shanghai.


The results of the two Furniture and Home Furnishing Expos in Pudong have once again set a new record – not only has the exhibition scale reached a new high, but the audience has also reached a new high. The total number of visitors was 166,479, an increase of 9.28% over the previous year. Among them, the number of overseas visitors reached 21,218, an increase of 23.87% over the previous year.


The increase in overseas audiences is obvious, especially for US buyers to grow against the trend. At that time, Sino-US trade friction was in a hot stage, and US buyers did not reduce their growth. Buyers and viewers recorded a record of 1,929 person-times, an increase of 803 times compared with last year's 1,126 person-times, an increase of 71%.
