Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts recently unveiled its sixth gem with the opening of its newest property in Shanghai, China.
Set on the banks of the Suzhou Creek and just minutes from the iconic Bund and Shanghai City Centre, The Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel from an Italian Architecture Firm, sets a new standard for luxury accommodation in China’s most cosmopolitan city.
Balancing nature, contemporary design and heritage architecture, the property features a 48-floor tower adjoined to a majestically restored Chamber of Commerce Shanghai building completed in 1916 and surrounded by lush gardens.
Occupying the top eight floors of a 48-storey tower, which is also home to The Bvlgari Residences, the hotel includes 82 Rooms — 19 of which are exquisite Suites- offering intimate ambience and personalised service with an extraordinary design.
La Terrazza
Poised to be one of the city’s premier destinations, the hotel is also home to the rooftop Il Ristorante - Niko Romito and Il Bar, which are destined to become some of the most fashionable venues in Shanghai; La Terrazza on the rooftop, offering breathtaking views of The Bund and Pudong; and the Bao Li Xuan restaurant, serving exquisite Cantonese classics and local Shanghainese specialties in the historical atmosphere of the Chamber of Commerce Shanghai building adjacent to the hotel tower.
Il Ristorante
A 2,000-sq-m Bvlgari Spa and fitness centre, and a glamorous 500-sq-m Bvlgari Ballroom with triple-height ceilings complete the hotel’s features.

Unlike Bvlgari Hotel in Beijing, Bvlgari Shanghai introduced the customized shopping services into the hotel.
In addition to shopping on the boutiques at the first floor, you can also choose your favorite jewellery in your room.
And, IL Cioccolato, the first Bvlgari chocolate store also made a surprise appearance in it and sell the high-end custom-made chocolates and cakes.
