Haier, the Chinese household appliance manufacturer recently announced to cooperate with  SoftBank Robotics Group, starting from anthropomorphic robot - "Pepper" developed by SoftBank, landing in the field of Haier's "Intelligent store" and "Intelligent home". Pepper robot is expected to become the main center of future intelligent home furnishing of Haier.

Pepper, originally released in 2014 is a humanoid robot launched by SoftBank which can express emotions. At present this robot is produced by Hon Hai Precision Industry.

Pepper robot can be connected with water heaters, air conditioners, purifiers, etc.. It is not only possible to realize the automatic adjustment of indoor environment in combination with information such as temperature and humidity, but also available to connect with electric appliances, such as the oven, oil sucker, so as to help users realize automation in other aspects.

In Haier's "Intelligent store", Pepper will serve as a product commentator, to introduce product information to customers, and also demonstrate the operation mode of electric appliances for customers through Haier U+ system. Pepper can also help Haier stores collect customer feedback, and help carry out product research, and make statistics on store sales.
