Ergomotion has taken steps to transition itself into what it calls a provider of innovative, complete luxury sleep solutions to retailers.
Ergomotion, with U.S. headquarters in Santa Barbara, California, has taken steps to transition itself from being solely an adjustable base supplier to mattress manufacturers into what it calls a provider of innovative, complete luxury sleep solutions to retailers.
Santa Barbara, California-based Ergomotion has introduced Element, an Ergomotion-branded adjustable base that works with existing bedroom furniture.
This includes developing a direct-to-retail solution, establishing what it refers to as a “motion bedroom furniture product category” and developing Ergomotion-branded sleep systems.
“In many ways, we are already much more than an adjustable base company,” said Johnny Griggs, chief operating officer of Ergomotion, part of Keeson Technology Corp. Ltd. (previously Jiaxing Shufude Electric Bed Co. Ltd.), based in Jiaxing City, China. “As a member of Keeson Technology, we are part of a family of companies that provides products to the sleep industry in 33 countries. Now, as the marketing and sales arm of Keeson, we are taking the next step to bring innovative, complete luxury sleep solution packages to retailers and consumers across the globe.”
In establishing a motion bedroom furniture category, Ergomotion has introduced the Element, which can turn any bed into an adjustable bed, according to the company. It was previewed at the Winter Las Vegas Market and the Spring High Point Market. Element is just 3 ½ inches tall and goes on top of or in wood box frames or other platforms and is virtually invisible, the company said. It added that it enables retailers to add motion to any bedroom set with no change to their existing setups.
Ergomotion’s new branded sleep systems also include ergoFit and ergoFoam mattresses and ergoComfort pillows that are specially designed to work with and complement Ergomotion’s adjustable bases. All Ergomotion products are designed in California and manufactured in China.
