The American Society of Furniture Designers announced that it is extending the entry deadline for the 2016 Pinnacle Awards.

All entries were due by June 15, but the ASFD has now pushed that deadline back to June 30. Additionally, the ASFD announced that it is waiving the late entry fee for both student and professional entries.

“Due to an overwhelming number of last-minute Pinnacle Award entries and numerous requests for more time to submit entries and upload photography, we have made the decision to extend our deadline until Thursday, June 30th ,” said John Conrad, ASFD executive director. “Our Pinnacle Committee believes this will be in the best interest of the competition.”

Online 21st Anniversary Pinnacle Award entries can be submitted by clicking on one of the orange buttons on the banner at the top of ASFD’s home page at asfd.com.

The awards, which will be presented at the International Home Furnishings Center ballroom in High Point on Oct. 24, were created in 1995 by the ASFD board of directors to recognize and promote excellence in home furnishings design.
