ASHEBORO, N.C. — The fifth edition of “Klaussner at the Market,” the furniture producer’s High Point Market weekend television program, is set for April 16 and 17 on Fox 8, WGHP in High Point.

Hosted by Cristina DeHart, the hour-long program will feature the latest industry news, business trends, and market introductions. It will air from 7-8 a.m. each day.

In addition, Bill McLoughlin, editor-in-chief of Furniture/Today, will anchor live cut-ins from the High Point Market with news and updates on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

“We are now producing our fifth edition of ‘Klaussner at the Market.’ The level of enthusiasm for the show continues to grow, and I believe it fills a much-needed niche by providing market participants a broad range of information,” said Bill Wittenberg, CEO of Klaussner Home Furnishings.

A diverse guest line up will cover a myriad of topics ranging from merchandising to sales training to design trends and key information on the all-important mattress category. Among the guests are Grammy-winning artist Trisha Yearwood, co-creator of Klaussner’s Trisha Yearwood Home Collection; R.C. Wiley Furniture President Jeff Child, the new president of the Home Furnishings Assn.; Steve Riley, a merchandising expert from the Nebraska Furniture Mart; Bea Spires, vice president of design for Z-Wovens; Mike Peterson, president of the Furniture Trading Company; Ken Smith, partner in the accounting and consulting firm Smith Leonard; David Perry, executive editor of Furniture/Today; and Geoff Beaston, senior vice president at Klaussner Furniture.

Len Burke, Klaussner’s vice president of marketing is the program’s executive producer. Charlie Horich, the CEO and founder of HHL Advertising, a Maryland based agency specializing in the home furnishings industry, serves as producer and director.
