Shandong's wood-based panel output reached 77.73 million cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%, accounting for 25.2% of the country’s total wood-based panels, an increase of about 0.1% year-on-year, and continuing to rank first.

In 2019, with the exception of Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Qinghai, and Tibet, the other 26 provinces (cities, districts) all have wood-based panel production, of which 8 provinces (regions) produced more than 10 million cubic meters, one more than the previous year ten million cubic meters of production province.

The top ten provinces (regions) in China's wood-based panel production are basically stable. Shandong's wood-based panel production reached 77.73 million cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%, accounting for 25.2% of the country's total wood-based panels, an increase of about 0.1% year-on-year, and continuing to rank first;

Jiangsu's wood-based panel production was basically the same as last year, at 57.34 million cubic meters, accounting for 18.6% of the country's total wood-based panels, down 0.6% year-on-year, and ranking second;

The output of wood-based panels in Guangxi increased by 11.2% to 49.56 million cubic meters, accounting for 16.1% of the country' s total wood-based panels, an increase of 1.2 percentage points year-on-year, and was firmly seated in the third position, further narrowing the gap with Jiangsu. Is the main contributing factor. The output of the top ten provinces (regions) accounted for 90.8% of China's total output of wood-based panels, an increase of 0.6% year-on-year, and the trend of further concentration of production is obvious.

In 2019, the wood-based panel industry in economically developed regions will continue to move to regions with higher environmental carrying capacity. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei air pollution transmission channel "2+26" urban environmental governance has achieved results. The key wood-based panel manufacturers in Shandong, Hebei, Henan and other provinces in the region have basically completed the transformation of environmental protection facilities such as production exhaust gas control, and the output of wood-based panels has declined for two consecutive years After the rebound; Guangxi, with its abundant fast-growing eucalyptus resources and high environmental carrying capacity, the output of wood-based panels, especially plywood products, has grown rapidly, and continues to become a hot spot for the development of wood-based panels in China, with a significant growth trend in output; Its better regional location and raw material advantages have become a hot spot for wood-based panel investment in the eastern region.

East China (Shandong Province, Jiangsu Province, Shanghai, Zhejiang Province, Fujian Province, Anhui Province, Jiangxi Province) produced 1833.8 million cubic meters of wood-based panels, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%.

The output of wood-based panels in Southern China (Guangdong Province, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and Hainan Province) was 60.24 million cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%.

Central China (Henan Province, Hubei Province, Hunan Province) produced 30.86 million cubic meters of wood-based panels, a slight decrease of 3.2%, and its share in the national wood-based panel output dropped from 10.7% of the previous year to 10.0%. North China (Beijing, Tianjin) , Hebei Province, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Shanxi Province) wood-based panel output was 16.72 million cubic meters, basically the same as the previous year.

The output of wood-based panels in the southwestern region (Sichuan Province, Chongqing City, Yunnan Province, Guizhou Province, and Tibet Autonomous Region) was 12.24 million cubic meters, a decrease of 2.5% year-on-year, and its share of the national wood-based panel output dropped from 4.2% in the previous year to 4.0%.

The output of wood-based panels in the Northeast (Heilongjiang Province, Jilin Province, and Liaoning Province) was 4.52 million cubic meters, a sharp drop of 19.7%. The share of the country’s wood-based panel output was further reduced from 1.9% in the previous year to 1.5%, a decline for five consecutive years.

Northwest China (Shanxi Province, Gansu Province, Qinghai Province, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region) wood-based panel output was 630,000 cubic meters, a significant increase of 28.5%, accounting for 0.2% of the national wood-based panel output.
