It is reported that affected by the epidemic, consumers around the world have bought a large number of home furnitures and equipments to meet their needs at home, which has promoted the export of furniture in Asia and led to the price of containers sent from Asia hitting a record high. 

In November, shipments of furniture from Asia to the United States rose 23.9 percent from a year earlier. In January, a 40-foot container shipped from Shanghai to the US sold for $4,019, up 150 per cent from a year earlier. A 20-foot container bound for Europe costs $4,452, a fourfold increase from a year earlier.
