General Administration of Customs, P.R. China: Furniture Exports in the First Eleven Months of 2019 Totaled Nearly RMB332.77 billion

The General Administration of Customs recently reported that the export amount of furniture and its parts in November was RMB34.22 billion, up by 13.3% month-on-month; from January to November, the cumulative export amount was RMB332.77 billion, up by 4.5%, 1.7% lower than the previous month in growth rate.

 

In the first eleven months of 2019, the cumulative export amount of furniture, lamps and lanterns, lighting devices and parts, ceramic products and textile products was RMB1.4 trillion. Except for ceramic product, the cumulative export growth rate of furniture and lighting products and textile decreased.

 

Overall, the import and export value of China's trade in goods in the first eleven months of this year was RMB28.5 trillion, up by 2.4% year on year (similarly hereinafter). Of this total, the export amount was RMB15.55 trillion, up by 4.5%; imports totaled RMB12.95 trillion, basically the same as the same period last year; the trade surplus was RMB2.6 trillion with an increase of 34.9%.

 

In November, China's total import and export value was RMB2.86 trillion, up by 1.8%. Of this total, the export amount was RMB1.57 trillion, up by 1.3%; imports totaled RMB1.29 trillion, up by 2.5%; the trade surplus was RMB274.21 billion, narrowed by 4.1%.
