According to the customs statistics, the import and export value of China's trade in goods in the first 7 months of this year was RMB 17.41 trillion, an increase of 4.2% over the same period of last year (similarly hereinafter). Among which, the export value was RMB9.48 trillion, increased by 6.7%; the import achieved RMB 7.93 trillion, an increase of 1.3%; and the trade surplus was RMB 1.55 trillion with an increase of 47.4%.
In July, China's total import and export value was RMB 2.74 trillion, an increase of 5.7%. Among them, the export value was RMB 1.53 trillion, increased by 10.3%; the import value was RMB 1.21 trillion, increased by 0.4%; and the trade surplus was RMB310.26 billion, an increase of 79%.
From January to July, the total export volume of furniture and its parts reached RMB210.31 billion, increased by 8.8% year on year; exports fell by 0.5% in July to RMB 30.92 billion month-on-month.
From January to July, the cumulative export value of the industries of furniture, lamps, lighting devices and parts, textiles and plastic products was RMB 987.01 billion, an increase of 18.8% year on year; in July, exports totaled RMB 156.19 billion, an increase of 4.6% on a month-on-month basis.
