Compared to the finished product furniture, the customized furniture appear later but develop more rapidly, and it has become a customized furniture industry with the annual production value over RMB one hundred billion in China.

 

As the generations born in the 1980s and the 1990s become the main consumers in China’s market, their desire to life pursuit is strengthened, and they pay more attention to the life quality: the products must be healthy; the life shall be more intelligent and more convenient; and my life must embody my own character. Therefore, the consumption characteristics of “paying attention to consumption experience, pursuing freedom, efficiency and sense of science and technology” will certainly drive the rapid development of the whole-house customization with the advantages of “one-stop shopping, meeting the individualized requirements, style unification and utilizing the space reasonably”.

In the first half of 2017, 6 customized enterprises entered the capital market. According to the annual report of listing companies in Q1 of 2018 disclosed recently, the customized enterprises kept the rapid growth overall, and Oppein Home and Sogal led the customization industry with the respective revenues of RMB 1.906 billion and RMB 1.243 billion.
