How Will Household Brands Spend 6•18 China’s E-commerce Shopping Festival?
Last year, during 6•18, JD year-on-year growth of the sales volume on June 18 was 124%.
As a marketing concept created under the leadership of e-commerce platform, “6•18” has been abreast of “Double 11”, has been gradually accepted by the public and has become an agreed mid-year shopping season. Different from the previous years, the offline household shopping malls have joined in this “6•18”. How will the offline shopping malls spend the online shopping festival?
This June, Jimei Household announced the cooperation with JD and started the activities for “6•18”. Officially launched in JD, Jimei Household Dahongmen Shopping Mall, Marco Polo Bridge Shopping Mall and Dinghui Bridge Shopping Mall will complete online commodity locking and offline transaction completion by the activities including Coupons, Buy 3 Get 1 Free and Online Lottery.
Some stores of Easyhome in Beijing has also participated in the activities for “Carnival Season for Ideal Life” by Tmall, and the consumers can buy vouchers on Tmall in advance and then use them in the offline shopping stores of Easyhome.
Last year, during 6•18 Middle-end Shopping Festival for All the People, there was a strong growth in household and decoration of JD, and the year-on-year growth of the sales volume on June 18 was 124%; the building materials and furniture became the hottest categories, and the year-on-year growths on the very day were 242% and 138% respectively.
