In the first six months of 2017, furniture exports amounted to $ 24.67 billion, with a year-on-year growth of 7%.
Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China recently released furniture export relevant data. In the first six months of this year, furniture exports amounted to $ 24.67 billion, with a year-on-year growth of 7%. Compared with the previous five months, the growth rate increased by 1.1%. Since the furniture export growth turned to positive growth from March of this year, the growth kept increasing trend continually. The constant improving trend of exports will provide strong support for the furniture industry to maintain rapid growth this year. At the same time, the exchange rate of RMB against the U.S. dollar is expected to remain at a relatively high level between 6.8-6.9 in the second half of this year, so the exchange rate environment is also conducive to furniture exports then.
