Expected Purchase Rate Rises of Furniture and Household Appliances in China

The survey data was from questionnaires of 5000 interviewees in such ten cities as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Lanzhou and Shaoxing in past five quarters. The questions were launched aiming at nineteen large consumer goods including commercial residential buildings, rental housing, outbound tourism, training products, automobiles, large-size furniture, all kinds of household appliances and so on.

Ministry of Commerce carried out consumption predication survey on 5,000 city interviewees whose ages were above 23 in continuous six straight quarters. The survey data was from questionnaires of 5000 interviewees in such ten cities as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Lanzhou and Shaoxing in past five quarters. The questions were launched aiming at nineteen large consumer goods including commercial residential buildings, rental housing, outbound tourism, training products, automobiles, large-size furniture, all kinds of household appliances and so on. Then, it was classified and analyzed according to the education background, occupation and monthly income level of the intervieweesThe investigation showed that the expected purchase rate of large furniture, air cleaners, TV and refrigerators in the fourth quarter rose both link relative ratio and year-on-year basis. The expected purchase rate of air conditioners and washing machines went down in link relative ratio and went up on year-on-year basis.

 

Air Conditioner

 

At present, the questionnaire of 5,000 city interviewees made by the Ministry of Commerce Research Institute revealed that the expected purchase rate of air conditioners in the third quarter of 2015 was 14.6%. It rose in link relative ratio and on year-on-year basis.

 

The ratio expected to rise by the interviewees is 49.2% of the air conditioner price of third quarter in 2015. It had risen for four consecutive quarters and rose remarkably in link relative ratio; the ratio of level watching (38.6%) went down continuously and went down remarkably in link relative ratio. Bearish ratio (12.1%) went down for three consecutive quarters and went up slightly on year-on-year basis.

 

The ratio (65.9%) that interviewees expected to purchase air conditioners through "physical stores" in the third quarter of 2015 went down in link relative ratio and on year-on-year basis; the ratio (30.9%) of choosing "physical stores + online shopping" went down slightly and went up on year-on-year basis. The ratio (3%) of choosing "pure online shopping" rose slightly and decreased on year-on-year basis.

 

Among the interviewees who expected to purchase air conditioners through the network, the ratio (59.4%) of using computer terminals rose again slightly and the ratio (38.4%) of using mobile terminals rose constantly.

 

TV

 

At present, the questionnaire of 5,000 city interviewees made by the Ministry of Commerce Research Institute revealed that the expected purchase rate of TV in the third quarter of 2015 was 10.8%. It rose in link relative ratio and kept the same on year-on-year basis.

 

The ratio expected to rise by the interviewees is 29.4% of the TV price of third quarter in 2015. It went down in link relative ratio and rose remarkably on year-on-year basis. The ratio of level watching (52.1%) went up and went down remarkably on year-on-year basis. Bearish ratio (18.5%) rose again and went up on year-on-year basis.

 

The ratio (57.1%) that interviewees expected to purchase TVs through "physical stores" in the third quarter of 2015 went down in link relative ratio and on year-on-year basis; Both the ratio (37%) of choosing "physical stores + online shopping" and the ratio (5.7%) of choosing "pure online shopping" rose and rose on year-on-year basis.

 

Among the interviewees who expected to purchase TVs through the network, the ratio (62.3%) of using computer terminals rose again and the ratio (35%) of using mobile terminals fell after rising.

 

Washing Machine

 

At present, the questionnaire of 5,000 city interviewees made by the Ministry of Commerce Research Institute revealed that the expected purchase rate of washing machines in the third quarter of 2015 was 7.1%. It rose in link relative ratio and on year-on-year basis.

 

The ratio expected to rise by the interviewees is 26.7% of the washing machine price of third quarter in 2015. It fell after rising and rose on year-on-year basis. The ratio of level watching (56.3%) went up again and went down remarkably on year-on-year basis. Bearish ratio (17%) rose again and went up on year-on-year basis.

 

The ratio (54.8%) that interviewees expected to purchase washing machines through "physical stores" in the third quarter of 2015 went down in link relative ratio and on year-on-year basis; Both the ratio (36.7%) of choosing "physical stores + online shopping" and the ratio (7.1%) of choosing "pure online shopping" rose and rose on year-on-year basis.

 

Among the interviewees who expected to purchase washing machines through the network, the ratio (53.8%) of using computer terminals went down constantly and the ratio (41.5%) of using mobile terminals rose constantly.

 

Refrigerator

 

At present, the questionnaire of 5,000 city interviewees made by the Ministry of Commerce Research Institute revealed that the expected purchase rate of refrigerators in the third quarter of 2015 was 7.8%. It rose in link relative ratio and decreased on year-on-year basis.

 

The ratio expected to rise by the interviewees is 33.7% of the refrigerator price of third quarter in 2015. It had risen for three consecutive quarters and rose remarkably in link relative ratio; the ratio of level watching (49.7%) went down continuously and went down remarkably in link relative ratio. Bearish ratio (16.7%) went down for four consecutive quarters and went up slightly on year-on-year basis.

 

The ratio (57.4%) that interviewees expected to purchase refrigerators through the physical stores in the third quarter of 2015 went down in link relative ratio and declined significantly on year-on-year basis; Both the ratio (34.9%) of choosing "physical stores + online shopping" and the ratio (7.2%) of choosing pure online shopping rose and rose on year-on-year basis.

 

Among the interviewees who expected to purchase refrigerators through the network, the ratio (54.3%) of using computer terminals went down constantly and the ratio (41.9%) of using mobile terminals rose constantly.

  

Air Cleaner

 

At present, the questionnaire of 5,000 city interviewees made by the Ministry of Commerce Research Institute revealed that the expected purchase rate of air cleaner in the third quarter of 2015 was 6.8%. It decreased sharply in link relative ratio and rose slightly on year-on-year basis.

 

Among 5,000 interviewees, the ratio that interviewees expected to rise the price of air cleaners in the third quarter of 2015 was 33.6%. It went down slightly in link relative ratio and rose remarkably on year-on-year basis; The ratio of level watching (50.7%) went up slightly in link relative ratio and went down remarkably on year-on-year basis; Bearish ratio (15.8%) rose slightly in link relative ratio and went up on year-on-year basis.

 

The ratio that interviewees expected to purchase air cleaners through "physical stores" in the third quarter of 2015 was 48%, it went down remarkably in link relative ratio and on year-on-year basis. It was expected that the ratio of choosing "physical stores + online shopping" was 41.2%. It rose remarkably in link relative ratio and on year-on-year basis. It was expected that the ratio of choosing "pure online shopping" was 9.8%. It rose slightly in link relative ratio and on year-on-year basis.

 

Among the interviewees who expected to purchase air cleaners through the Internet in the third quarter of 2015, the ratio of predicating to use computer terminals occupied 55.9%. It went down in link relative ratio and went down remarkably on year-on-year basis. Those who used mobile terminals occupied 40.1%. It rose in link relative ratio and rose remarkably on year-on-year basis.

 

Large Furniture

 

At present, the questionnaire of 5,000 city interviewees made by the Ministry of Commerce Research Institute revealed that the expected purchase rate of furniture in the third quarter of 2015 was 9.9%. It rose slightly in link relative ratio and small rose on year-on-year basis.

 

Among the interviewees, the ratio that interviewees expected to rise the price of the large furniture in the third quarter of 2015 was 23.3%. The ratio of level watching was 60.6% and bearish ratio was 16.1%. There was no remarkable change in link relative ratio.

 

It was expected that the ratio that interviewees chose "physical stores" to purchase large furniture in the third quarter of 2015 was 58.6%. It went down slightly in link relative ratio and went down remarkably on year-on-year basis; it was expected that the ratio (32.3%) of choosing "physical stores + online shopping" and the ratio (7.8%) of "pure online shopping" rose slightly in link relative ratio and on year-on-year basis.

 

And previously, it was expected that among the interviewees who purchased large furniture through the Internet in the first quarter of 2015, the ratio (49.2%) of using computer terminals went down and went down remarkably in link relative ratio. The ratio (42.8%) of using mobile terminals went up. It rose remarkably in link relative ratio.
