Furniture China 2018, Maison Shanghai set for Sept. 11-14
The 24th China International Furniture Expo (Furniture China 2018) and Maison Shanghai 2018 will be held in Sept. 11-14 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) and Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center (SWEECC).

Featured at this year’s joint event is the Design Hall, located in Halls E6 and E7, along with new companies featuring original designs and new brands in Hall E5. Nearly 130 exhibitors will be showcased in the Design Hall, including Stellar Works, MC’s Dr. Patrick Leung Design series, Hothing, Maxmarko and Lacasa.
This year’s expo will feature exhibitors from more than 60 countries, including six country pavilions: Italy (Veneto region), France, Belgium, Turkey, South Korea and Malaysia. Fourteen new brands will represent Germany, Norway, Dubai, the Middle East and South America.
This year’s expo will introduce the theme “Decoding of Colors,” interpreting the application of color in furniture industry and its future direction through three sections:
1) Eight color scene rooms aim to immerse the audience in a scene of color
2) A forum of presentations from scholars and pioneers of the furniture industry to integrating color languages with furniture design, building furniture conception based on color emotion and promoting design quality
3) A report on changes of modern color and lifestyle collaboration with the world’s authoritative color institutions to construct a world language for Chinese furniture industry.
In addition to the expo, the Furniture Manufacturing & Supply China 2018 also will be held at SNIEC, co-located with Furniture China 2018 and focusing on high-end manufacturing and upstream and downstream industrial chains.
Maison Shanghai will feature live stage events, including Design of Designers, Maison Business School, Home Plus and Handmade in Germany.
