E-commerce luxury furniture brand Burrow is opening its first retail store on Sept. 8 in the SoHo section of Manhattan.

The store will be called Burrow House. The company says its opening marks a major milestone as it begins to expand outside its digital presence and find new, creative ways to build lasting relationships with its customers. Burrow is known for providing luxury furniture that is delivered to customers in a week.

“From the beginning, we’ve focused on solving problems for our customers. We wanted to create furniture that’s built to last, wouldn’t take months to arrive and was mindful of both people’s lives and the planet,” said Stephen Kuhl, Burrow co-founder and CEO. “By opening the doors of Burrow House to the public, we’re abolishing the idea of the typical furniture store. Burrow House is a place to celebrate the experiences we create in our homes.

At the multi-level Burrow House location, customers will be able to shop all products from armchairs to chaise sectionals, and according to the company, they will also be able to make themselves right at home whether they’re relaxing in front of the fireplace with a book, watching a movie in the private screening room or creating their own story in the green screen studio.

The opening of this retail location is happening less than a year and a half after the company’s initial launch in April 2017. Since then, Burrow has expanded its original product line to include ottomans, chaise sectionals and other design options. Burrow, a company with 30 employees, designs and manufactures furniture and other goods with headquarters in New York City and a partner production facility in North Carolina.

"We’ve always been proud to be part of these moments for our customers, and now we have the opportunity to experience them together.”
