The 2nd Muji Hotel in Beijing Hutong With Its Furniture Selling On the Ground Floor
Some of the furniture and decoration in the room can be purchased in the Muji Beijing Square store located on the ground floor.
On June 30th, the second MUJI HOTEL officially opened in Meishi Street, Qianmen, Beijing. Immediately after the flagship store of Starbucks, they both settled in the newly opened commercial complex “Beijing Square” in the northeast corner of Dashilar.
Beijing Fang is the mainstay of the “Chinese-style Living Experience Zone”, famous as the cultural and commercial districts. The overall architectural design style is integrated into the surrounding ancient city style, and gradually introduces multi-business lifestyle brands such as Starbucks and MUJI HOTEL. And boarding the building on the fourth floor of MUJI HOTEL, you can also overlook the night scene of Tiananmen Square.
MUJI HOTEL has opened the world's first hotel in Shenzhen at the beginning of this year. Unlike the previous cooperation with UpperHills, MUJI HOTEL Beijing Store is mainly designed and operated by Tokyo UDS Co., Ltd., and its wholly-owned subsidiary Yudusi Construction Consulting Co., Ltd. and the company's Good Projects are also involved in the planning. MUJI HOTEL BEIJING will be operated and managed by Yuduisi Qianmen Hotel Branch.
MUJI HOTEL BEIJING has a total of 6 room types, with 42 rooms, including a minimum of 18 square meters of standard rooms, a maximum of 75 square meters of suites and other room types. Natural materials such as diatomaceous earth, hemp, cotton, and stone are used in the interior of the room. Some of the furniture and decoration in the room can be purchased in the Muji Beijing Square store located on the ground floor.
In order to blend into the neighborhood, MUJI HOTEL BEIJING's front desk and public areas use bamboo, a traditional Chinese material, and bricks from surrounding streets. In addition to the reception on the first floor, MUJI HOTEL BEIJING set up BOOK LOUNGE and selected and collected about 8,000 books on the theme of travel or world life.
It is reported that in the spring of 2019, Tokyo Ginza will open a third MUJI HOTEL, and UDS will cooperate with the good project to plan, interior design and operation.
