Recently, Sleemon Furniture Co.Ltd publishes the semi-annual report in 2017, the company realizes the operating income of RMB 1.18 billion with year-on-year growth of 50.59% in comparison to last year within the reporting period; net profit belonging to shareholders of listed company is RMB 94.826 million with year-on-year growth of 51.96% in comparison to last year.

 

The announcement indicates that Sleemon business accomplishes the overall sales of RMB 1.1 billion, of which self-owned brand terminal retail business realizes the sales volume of RMB 0.48 billion with year-on-year growth of over 80%; Self-owned brand hotel engineering business realizes the sales volume of RMB 0.1 billion with year-on-year growth of 30%; ODM/OEM business realizes the sales volume of RMB 0.52 billion with year-on-year growth of 20%. Film and television business develops in advances and realizes the sales volume of RMB 80 million with year-on-year growth of over five times in the first half year.


It's reported that in the first half year of 2017, Sleemon insists on focusing on household industry, takes bedroom & garderobe goods as core products, enters the new field- living room sofa, and continuously increases market share of Sleemon products and realizes high growth of sales volume and profit by increasing the input of design, research and development into new products, driving transformation and innovation of sales mode and optimizing management and layout of supply chain.


The institution points out that high growth of Sleemon in the first half year is main caused by rapid expansion of self-owned brand business, and non-recurring profit and loss as well as film and television business make great contributions to net profit of the first half year. China has become the largest mattress consumption market in the world, while concentration ratio of the industry is far below that of mature market. Standardization degree of the mattress is higher than other household goods, and dominant enterprises have stronger scale effect with faster promotion of concentration ratio.
