Gucci just gave us another reason to join its growing global cult. The Italian luxury label's acclaimed Creative Director Alessandro Michele has announced the launch of Gucci Décor, which extends his signature quirky prints and riotous colours beyond your wardrobe and into your home.

For his first home line, Michele borrows heavily from his runways. You'll find the same animal prints, bountiful floral embroideries and rich colour palettes on the furniture, crockery and furnishing that make his seasonal presentations among the most-awaited in the fashion business.

For his line of green and white porcelain crockery, Michele worked with the renowned Florentine brand, Richard Ginori. The products feature animals from the 'Gucci Garden' — bees, butterflies and cockerel heads – which are rendered in porcelain and attached to pots, lids, candleholders and small incense holders.

Gucci has also developed four fragrances for its home line, ranging from the rose-heavy Inventum and the birch-and-orange Fumus to the lemongrass-inspired Herbosum and Esotericum, which relies on the bitter aroma of Seville oranges for its scent.
The collection will hit stores across North America, Europe, the Middle East and China in September, and will also be available online on Gucci.com.
