Las Vegas Market announced that furniture leasing activity continues to intensify in advance of the Winter 2017 Las Vegas Market, running Jan. 22-26, 2017, with more than 127,000 square feet of new showrooms, expansions and renewals signed since the Summer 2016 Market.

Las Vegas Market announced that furniture leasing activity continues to intensify in advance of the Winter 2017 Las Vegas Market, running Jan. 22-26, 2017, with more than 127,000 square feet of new showrooms, expansions and renewals signed since the Summer 2016 Market.

 

“Furniture leasing at Las Vegas Market continues to pick up steam, with top brands making new, renewed and expanded showroom commitments, further enhancing the Market’s already-robust furniture presentation,” said Scott Eckman, executive vice president of marketing and furniture leasing for International Market Centers. “As the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States, Las Vegas Market continues to evolve and consistently delivers results for our buyers and our suppliers.”

 

Newcomers include: Ivena International, a manufacturer of solid wood dining, living, bedroom and outdoor furniture, opening a 2,347-sq.-ft. showroom on B1; weightless mattress system supplier Levitation Laboratories, debuting a 2,150-sq.-ft. location on B9; and Living M, premiering a 2,634-sq.-ft. showroom on A9.

 

Existing tenants who are expanding showrooms for Winter Market include: Alder & Tweed, more than doubling its space to a 4,907-sq.-ft. showroom on B1; Comfort Research, expanding to a 5,739-sq.-ft. location on A9; ID-USA, moving to a 3,346-sq.-ft. space on B10; Oddello Bedding, expanding to a 2,289-sq.-ft. showroom on B9; and Twin-Star International, enlarging its space with a 11,929-sq.-ft. showroom on A10.

 

In addition, three current Las Vegas Market vendors will relocate into new showroom locations for Winter Market: Pastel/Mallin, moving to a 6,870-sq.-ft. showroom on B7; Pauli Jamsen Designer Beds, relocating to a 1,678-sq.-ft. location on B9; and Zuo Modern, moving to a 6,246-sq.-ft. space on B8.

 

A number of major suppliers have renewed their commitments for Winter Market, totaling more than 77,000 square feet of showroom space. Returning powerhouse brands include: Canadian upholstered furniture supplier Décor-Rest, with a 9,984-sq.-ft. showroom on A5; leather furniture maker Violino, returning to a 13,352-sq.-ft. location on B8; and global transitional and contemporary furniture supplier Sunpan, with a 14,704-sq.-ft. space on B7.
