Case goods and upholstery resource Emerald Home Furnishings has promoted Doris Lim to the newly created position of director of Asian operations.

Lim has been with Emerald for seven years, most recently as country manager of Asian operations.

In her new role, she reports to John Iasiello, vice president of product development. She will oversee the Emerald quality control team in Malaysia and Vietnam and work with the company’s sourcing partners in those countries to ensure product is delivered on time, on budget and meets quality standards. She also will manage various operations activities involving case goods introductions.
