118 by Sebastian Herkner

Sebastian Herkner collaborated with Thonet, a benchmark in the modern German furniture manufacturing industry, to produce this chair, the 118 chair. It uses modern computer data-controlled processing technology and steam bending to shape wood, which became popular around the world 150 years ago. A tribute to the "Vienna Chair", and adds a lot of fashionable colors to this piece.

Herkner drew a sketch of the wooden chair in the Cologne Design Gallery with a classic colored crayon. Unlike pencil sketches, the selected colors give the design a unique personality and elegance. Herkner paints with firm and powerful lines, and the use of rich colors makes the chair come alive.

"Sketches can quickly obtain dynamic three-dimensional effects. After the process of trial, rejection, and further improvement, the details of the entire work are enriched. Sketches alone can help me fix myself in one place and focus on one problem." — —Eric Degenhardt

CUP 01 & CUP 02 by Eric Degenhardt

Eric Degenhardt decomposed the armchair and sofa into separate elements and designed this avant-garde chair for furniture manufacturer Richard Lampert. The sketch of CUP 01 only shows the two side parts of the armchair. Degenhardt drew the sketch with dark green and black thin lines. In addition, the subtle colors in the picture may not be noticed without careful observation.

"As a product designer, sketching is an indispensable part of my work process. It is the beginning of all projects. At the same time, sketching is a tool to get feedback on ideas immediately. Think on a piece of paper to make the work It's simpler and clearer."-Jonas Wagell

JULEP by Jonas Wagell

Jonas Wagell's sketches are not refined, and the form of the series is repeated continuously with lines in search of a better form of expression. With the help of dark green and gray tones and clever use of textures, Wagell transforms complex lines into three-dimensional forms, and presents the diversity of furniture in a unique composition.
