Round D.154.5 armchair

More than 60 years after Gio Ponti designed this chair, the Round D.154.5 was reborn due to the collaboration between Molteni&C and Gio Ponti Archives to reissue the Heritage series.

Like other projects in the series, Molteni&C's careful study of drawings, photos and materials shows us every exquisite detail of the armchair, rejuvenating the forgotten masterpiece.

The name Round D.154.5 comes from the round shape of the seat and backrest, and is also called "soap" in some cases. It has a very modern shape, which has never appeared before. Features avant-garde materials and technologies, such as curved plywood for connecting the backrest and seat, and non-slip metal feet that are easy to assemble.

In fact, the chair consists of eight parts: a backrest, a seat, two curved plywood elements and four legs, which can be simply assembled together with screws. Gio Ponti likes this chair very much and often uses it to decorate his architectural design projects.

D.847.1 Desk

The same Molteni&C also re-enacted the D.847.1 desk designed by Gio Ponti. The edge of the rectangular table top is slightly tilted upwards to form a perfect arc. The "H"-shaped legs are bifurcated on the edge of the table top. The wooden table legs are matched with the metal non-slip base, and there is a touch of exquisiteness in the retro. As a balanced and elegant table, it is suitable for all spaces in the home environment.

Half a Square dining table

Half a Square designed by Michael Anastassiades perfectly demonstrates minimalism. The new design continues a part of the 2020 series, expanding its compositional possibilities. In 2021, the minimalist style of Half a Square added a new unique appearance, using matte white glass to enhance the simplicity of the appearance and the geometric rigor of the design to adapt to the ever-changing space environment.

Piroscafo storage cabinet

Molteni&C has launched a new version of Piroscafo 30 years after its release. The new exterior walls and eucalyptus interiors painted in warm spice colors reconstitute a classic piece of modern style, continuing its aesthetic balance and perfect proportions of individual components. Exquisite materials and craftsmanship, and exquisite details, undoubtedly make it a member of the modern and exquisite home furnishing series.

Hector Night wardrobe

Hector Night is a new project by Molteni&C dedicated to the bedroom. It is derived from the Hector bookcase, with strong modernity and flexible expressiveness.
