Middle Ages Furniture Louisiana Collection by Stellar Works
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.
Home design brand Stellar Works recently relaunched three pieces of 1950's medieval furniture, originally from Danish architect Vilhelm Wohlert, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.
The Louisiana collection consists of two chairs and a lamp, originally designed by Vilhelm Wohlert for the museum that opened in 1958, and a bar chair that was also prototyped at the time, but has never been commercialized.
The seat has a curved backrest and a padded round seat that echoes the architectural style of the museum; the chandelier is inspired by a collection of wines from the Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen, a hemispherical copper chandelier, vintage Full of children.
