LLamasoft has been tapped by Ashley Furniture Industries as its supply chain software provider for both Ashley’s manufacturing and retail divisions.

Ashley will use Llamasoft’s Supply Chain Guru and transportation optimization technologies to drive savings and efficiency within its network, a Llamasoft statement said. Ashley is one of the largest manufacturers of home furnishings worldwide, and also has 660 Ashley HomeStores in 35 countries.

“We are eager to work with this leading brand to improve and extend their supply chain to use as a differentiator in an increasingly competitive market,” said Bob McFarland, senior vice president of global sales of LLamasoft, which helps organizations design and improve their supply chain operations.
