Sealy is celebrating the 65th anniversary of its flagship Sealy Posturepedic line with the launch here of three new Posturepedic lines.

Showing in a new showroom, C-1496, Sealy is introducing its Posturepedic Series, Posturepedic Plus Series and Posturepedic Premier Hybrid Series, featuring a specially engineered coil system that responds to the natural curves and alignment of the spine, officials said.

Meanwhile, Sealy’s sister brand, Stearns & Foster, is introducing a five-bed Limited Edition collection that uses wool to keep sleepers comfortable, officials said. S&F is showing the line in its first freestanding showroom, C-1524. Sealy and Stearns & Foster previously shared a showroom in Las Vegas.

All of the new Posturepedic models offer superior back support, durability and comfort, officials said.

The Posturepedic Series, which starts at $649, “resets the standard for what Posturpedic stands for,” said Dan Calderwood, vice president of product marketing for the Sealy and S&F lines. It utilizes the Embrace encased coil system, the company’s exclusive CoreSupport Center for added support and durability in the center of the bed, and gel memory foam for body-conforming support. Corner-wrap handles make it easy to move the beds, officials said.

The Posturepedic Plus Series offers more memory foam and more densely packed encased coils for added comfort and support. It starts at $799.

And the Posturepedic Premier Hybrid Series, which retails from $1,299 to $1,999, features the “half foam and half springs” design first introduced in the previous Posturepedic hybrid line, which officials described as a highly successful offering.

The new line utilizes Zoned Sealy Embrace Plus Coils, 30% more coils in the center zone, and a breathable fabric panel to allow more airflow and keep the mattress more comfortable at night, the company said.

The new Stearns & Foster models — three tight tops and two pillowtops — feature generous amounts of Joma wool from New Zealand, which provides pressure relief and climate control.
