Nova LifeStyle rings the NASDAQ Stock Market closing bell

Nova Lifestyle, the mother company of upholstery resource Diamond Sofa, rings the Nasdaq Stock Market closing bell on July 2 local time.

 

Nova Lifestyle, the mother company of upholstery resource Diamond Sofa, rings the Nasdaq Stock Market closing bell on July 2 local time. The company shifted to Nasdaq on Jan 17 under the ticker symbol NVFY and became the first China furniture company going public in USA stock market.

 

Nova Lifestyle, originated in 1991 as a small furniture factory in Dongguan, acquired Diamond Sofa, a USA company which focuses on contemporary, urban styles, in August 2011.

 

Nova Lifestyle has been selling upholstery, case goods and office furniture internationally under several other brand names, including Colorful World, Giorgio Mobili and Bright Swallow, that makes the company become a fast growing, innovative designer, manufacturer and distributor of modern lifestyle furniture. 

 

A China furniture museum designed and operated by the company opened in 2011.

 

"This is a very exciting moment for our company, and we are very proud of the progress we have made since becoming a publicly traded company on June 30, 2011," said Tawny Lam, president. "The listing on the NASDAQ Global Market allows us the greater visibility with investors around the world as we continue to work to grow our business and sell our products internationally."

 

Nova Lifestyle releases that they will start an online retail platform called HOME87 very soon.
