Qumei Home established the first "Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly New Material Research Center"

Explore carbon reduction and increase the use of renewable energy in the future.

On June 9th, Qumei Home announced at the "Environmentalist · Carbon Future" conference to establish the first "Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly New Material Research Center" with a number of institutes, and stated that it will increase the use of renewable energy in the future.

This year is the 9th year of Qumei Home’s trade-in, and its environmental protection upgrade will accelerate the planning and implementation of scientific carbon reduction.

At the press conference, Qumei Home and several institutes jointly established the "Sustainable and Environmentally Friendly New Materials Research Center", which will focus on the research needs of new materials in the home furnishing field and environmental protection, and carry out low-carbon environmentally friendly new materials and industrial application research jobs.

According to Zhao Ruihai, Chairman of Qumei Home, Qumei has made many explorations in the application of new materials and the delivery of new environmental protection concepts.

"Last year, the '0 formaldehyde added solid wood structural board' product with lighter weight, higher strength, deformation resistance, and moisture resistance was introduced to the market, delivering a new life of appropriately blank space, no excessive consumption, and no waste' to the society, consumers can agree with and are willing to participate."

"Carbon neutrality" refers to the total amount of carbon dioxide emissions produced directly or indirectly by companies, groups or individuals within a certain period of time, through carbon dioxide removal methods, such as afforestation, energy saving and emission reduction, industrial adjustment or purchasing carbon emission credits. Offset this part of carbon emissions, so as to achieve the goal of "net zero emissions".

Qumei Home said that its "carbon neutral" development plan is progressing steadily. In the future, the use of renewable energy will be increased and afforestation activities will continue.
