Furniture business data released for the first nine months, new pattern formed

A new market pattern has been formed: the foreign trade situation is improving; domestic sales are slowly recovering

Foreign trade enterprises perform well

How are custom companies performing?

 

The rapid growth of the custom segment is a thing of the past. But in the post-epidemic era, the custom segment is still a faster recovery area.

 

Customized leading OPPEIN furnishing in the first nine months of sales growth of 2%, net profit growth of 5%. Other smaller custom furniture companies, some revenue and net profit across the board positive, some in a slight decline in the state, individual net profit fell sharply, and the overall condition of the top three companies is similar.

 

The overall performance of the custom furniture can be described as mixed.

 

Comfortable furniture companies perform well

 

KUKA HOME  is a company that sells both internally and externally and has performed well overall in the first nine months.

 

With sofas as the main product of KUKA HOME, sales increased by 9.9% and net profit increased by 10.1%, which is a good report card.

 

Sofa as a furniture to improve people's comfort, sales expansion, is a reflection of people's furniture consumption upgrade. The good trend of overseas sales also adds to its growth.

 

Another domestic sales-oriented furniture listed company Sleemon, the main product for the mattress, the first nine months of sales revenue has turned positive growth, up 3%, net profit is still down, down 37%.

 

Overall, the performance of comfort furniture is still okay.

 

Some companies underperformed

 

Some of the listed furniture companies are doing quite poorly.

 

Foreign trade based Yihua Life, whose revenue plummeted 76 percent in the first nine months of the year, posted a huge loss of 689 million yuan in net profit. The announcement comes after a previous sale of a Yihua subsidiary, which appears to have put the company in a rather difficult position.

 

A-Zenith Furniture efforts to turn around the company have not been working well either. Sales fell about 35 percent in the first nine months, with a net loss of 29.6 million yuan. Full-year if not turnaround, will be three consecutive years of losses, facing the risk of being suspended.

 

From the former September listed furniture company's business performance, the new market pattern has been formed: foreign trade situation is improving; domestic sales slowly recovered; improve people's quality of life of the company developed smoothly; custom furniture still has considerable development toughness, but profits began to differentiate. Even in the group of listed companies, some companies are beginning to fall behind, the fierce competition in the industry can be seen.
